Eyes are open!

Their personalities are starting to show now. Eyes are open and after meal time they have enough energy to rumble with each other for at least 5 minutes before it is time for the next nap !

Beaglier Puppies are growing - 1 week old today

Lollipop is getting a little more freedom since they have grown enough to eat to their fill and then sleep longer stretches. Their whimpers and whines are so sweet. It makes mom come a-running.

Our tri-colored AKC registered miniature Beagle, Lollipop, had a litter of seven chubby adorable puppies (4 female/3 male). They were fathered by a tri-colored AKC registered King Cavalier Spaniel named Buddy. The litter was born on 12/10/09 and will be ready for their new homes by early February. The females are $600 and the males are $500.

What is a Beaglier? A designer breed that is a perfect-sized dog with a great temperament. Beagliers are a nice blend of characteristics coming from the cross between a Beagle and a King Cavalier Spaniel. Cavalier's tend to be calm, cuddly dogs who want to be by your side but they are very hairy. Beagles are born hunters and are very smart, active dogs that have course hair. Beagliers tend to be calmer, not prone to the traditional Beagle howl (although we have no howling issues with Lollipop). Crossing these two breeds tends to tame the hunter instincts and their pups have softer, cuddlier short-haired fur.

Since their parents are registered AKC, the pups are eligible to be registered through the American Canine Hybrid Club (ACHC).
